American film director Ira Mallory explores the closing of Broad Ripple High School and its legacy in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2018, the announcement that four potential public high schools in Indianapolis may close sparks widespread outcry. Among the schools slated for closing is Broad Ripple High School, an iconic school known for the performing arts and it's most famous alumni, David Letterman. Community members begin flooding public meetings. Soon, two community activists emerge and one becomes the voice for those opposed to the closings as she questions the school board's motives and decision process.
